Bob began his insurance career in 1968 with the Equitable Life Assurance Society. Bob acquired his Securities License in 1974. Bob was a Career Agent & District Manager for Equitable until 1978 when he became associated with Kluthe and Lane, a Property and Casualty agency, as the manager of their financial services division. Bob helped start the Geis Agency/Cummings and Roll Agency in 1981. Bob sold his shares in that entity in 1982 and associated with Western Dakota Insurors in 1983. Bob became an owner of Western Dakota Insurors in 1989, and in 1999 sold his shares and went back to his first love, dealing directly with the consumers.
Designations:
Chartered Life Underwriter designation in 1989 from the American College. The Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) is a professional financial advisor specializing in developing effective solutions for individuals, business owners and professionals in the areas of income replacement, risk management, estate planning, and wealth transfer. For more than 80 years, the CLU designation has been widely recognized as a mark of excellence in the insurance industry.
Accredited Estate Planner in 1995 from the National Association of Estate Planning Councils. The AEP designation is awarded by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils to professionals who meets tringent experience and education qualifications including two graduate level courses administered by The American College. The National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) is a national organization of professional estate planners and affiliated Estate Planning Councils focused on establishing and monitoring the highest professional and educational standards. NAEPC fosters public awareness of the quality services rendered by professionals who meet these standards. NAEPC builds a team approach involving cross-professional disciplines to better serve the publics need in estate planning.
